The Dome
The architect-designed space will help you slow down and tune in to nature.
The space has three elements, the dome, the wooden pagoda and the sensational gardens.
The dome sits in the landscape on a floating deck, under an ancient oak tree, with views stretching out over the Devon hills towards Exmoor.
The dome is the perfect place to escape for a restfull retreat.
Look out for bats and barn owls flying low at dusk.
Sleeps 2 - 5
From £140 per night.
Description:
The giant dome provides warmth and luxurious accomodation all year round. The panoramic views are best enjoyed from the sofa with the fire crackling in the wood burner.
Each piece of furniture has been hand picked by Ania, a range of natural mateirals, pre-loved pieces and design classics.
The wooden pagoda next to the dome provides all the key facilities you need. The roof provides shelter for an outside dining area, inside is a fully equipped kitchen with a shower cubicle tucked beind.
You can dine outdoors whilst enjoying modern comforts, and retreat inside when the time is right.
The timber structure is the design of architects Rural Office. It sits as a sculpture in the landscape, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.
You are very welcome to use our communal kitchen called ‘the black barn’ which comes with a large range cooker, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and large dining area.
The dome is secluded by lush gardens, designed by Ania, to create a jungle of colour and natural habitats.
Our favourite thing to do is simply to sit on the deck and gaze out at the sweeping views.
We provide everything you need for a perfect mini break. Please contact us if you would like the full guide to the dome.
